Learning and revising spellings cements the connection between letters and their sounds, which further improves reading and writing fluency of the students. Keeping this in mind, an 'inter-class spellathon competition' was recently conducted at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The five rounds of the competition included warm up, jumbled words, similar words, visual round and guess the word. Witnessed lively and encouraging participation of all the students who came well-prepared for the event, the competition honed the skills of participants. The motive behind the event was to drive the students to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to become effective and impressive communicators. The event left the Presidians wanting for more such sessions. It was a fruitful experience for every individual.
