Good manners is about considering the feelings of other people, and being the kind of person that others will like and respect. Nobody is unaware of the magic words such as “sorry”, “thank you” , “please” , “excuse me”. We should teach our children to essentially use these words in their
everyday life. These expressions shows the feeling of respect and change the command to request. Additionally these words shows appreciation and are a hallmark of civility. In order to inculcate this habit, Presidium, Raj Nagar organized an activity- A garden of Good Manners for Presidians of Grade 3. Students were told about the importance of manners through role play and other activities. They were given a situation for role play which have multiple opportunities to display good manners like greeting a friend etc. which help them to understand the actual execution and how they can exhibit good manners in real life situations. It was a visual bliss to watch all the students participate enthusiastically in the activity.
