Presidians visited the residence of the Vice President of India, Shri Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan to tie Rakhi to him on this gracious day. More than 100 School Children from various Schools in Delhi were addressed by The Honourable. This celebration was organised to promote the thought that Rakshabandhan is an ancient Bharatheeya tradition and the festival of Raksha Bandhan, is traditionally a celebration of human bonding between sisters and brothers, has a larger significance for contemporary times and probably for all times. It is a celebration of solidarity, a celebration of unity and a celebration of humanism. The Vice President encouraged students to tie that Rakhi that binds us all together.
