“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding” — William Paul Thurston
Learning mathematics by observing the pattern has been a great quest of mathematicians. The reasoning of shape, quantity, and arrangement is the building block for everything in our daily lives. Presidium always imparts learning through logical thinking and critical experience. To enhance this methodology of learning among students and meet the demand of science and technology, an activity related to verification of the geometrical theorem: The ratio of the areas of two similar triangles is equal to the square of the ratio of their corresponding sides was conducted in Grade 10. Students took part in learning the activity by exploring their critical approach. Students were found more eager and energetic due to experiential Learning. This activity created curiosity among students towards geometrical proofs of theorems.
