Janmashtami is a festival that marks the birth of the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna. To observe this festival, a special assembly was organized by the students of Presidium Raj Nagar. The Presidians of grades Nursery, Prep and 1 presented a lovely dance performance on the life of Lord Krishna. It was followed by a poem recitation. A skit was also presented by the Presidians wherein they enacted various facets of Shri Krishna’s life and turned the stage into Vrindavan. The students clad in traditional dresses, donned the roles of Krishna and Gopikas and were elated to swing the Krishna Jhoola. The assembly concluded with students singing the Arti ‘Kunj Bihari Ji Ki’ and seeking blessings of the Almighty.
