‘Cancer can touch you, but not your soul; neither your thoughts, nor your heart’. Presidium Raj Nagar recently organized a special assembly on Cancer Awareness Day. The event commenced with prayer followed by a speech on symptoms and signs of cancer, risk factors, attitude towards help-seeking, awareness of the link between cancer and age and so on… The senior students presented an eye-opening skit and an inspirational musical performance for which they were appreciated by one and all. A feeling of empathy was witnessed among the Presidians as they shared their experiences related to cancer patients. It was a wonderful experience and the day came to an end on a learning note.
