Raising children of different religions together, under one roof, make things interesting. It’s a great learning experience for them when they start sharing and exchange each other’s culture. The students become aware when they are taken to a new religious place and are shown the different places of worship. Presidians of grade 3 visited a Gurudwara, a Mosque and a Temple. This visit helped them to enhance their observation and communication skills. They also realized the significance of religious places in people’s life. The children acquired the knowledge of the different ways in which the particular people greet and wish each other, how they offer their prayers to God, what they wear, etc. The children also learned the symbols and names of the religion to which they belong to.
