Baisakhi is an important harvest festival of Punjab that has religious value as well, and Presidium celebrated it with great enthusiasm. All of the students enjoyed dancing on Bhangra beats and were shown a small animated video of the festival. The colourful attires made it more beautiful. They were also made aware of the importance of this festival by showcasing the Punjabi culture. The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their culture and heritage. The celebration of this festival marked the beginning of festivities at our school. These engaging and fun-filled activities were planned in such a manner that students were feeling confident, connected to each other, and as deeply valued members of our school community right from the very first day.
