MANGO DAY: STUDENTS RELISH THE KING OF FRUITS

It is the time of the year when a dash of mango- the sweet, juicy, tropical fruit in any dish instantly makes the dish a hot favourite. To celebrate and relish the taste of the most favourite fruit, mango, Mango Day was celebrated by students of grade Nursery to grade 1. Students were adorned with mango headbands, badges, bracelets, and even mask and flaunted various shades of mangoes- yellow, green, and orange through their dresses; the little ones looked like
a fresh stock of Alphonso. This was followed by ‘Mango Mania,’ wherein the students relished a variety of mango delicacies. The teachers made them aware of the values/benefits of this natural fruit. Students enhanced their vocabulary related to mango.
