Music is an art form that touches the heart and rejuvenates the soul. To inculcate the skills which are certainly going to help the students to excel in the field of music, Presidium Raj Nagar was all set to wander in the nodes and rhythms of music. A 'Vocal Workshop' was conducted in the school premises recently to enhance the voice modulation of our young Presidians of grade 1. Making the students understand various nodes of rhythm through different types of Sargam and its variations in 'teen taal', 16 beats, the workshop was a melodious experience for all!

As the most-awaited festival of Christmas is approaching, our young Presidians of Raj Nagar got an opportunity to give vent to their imagination and show their artistic abilities keeping in mind the theme of the festival. Students enjoyed a fun-filled club activity by making bookmarks in the form of a snowman. Students played with colours and made beautiful bookmarks in their hard to contain anticipation of this beautiful festival!

SPECIAL CHILDREN OF SPARSH THANK PRESIDIANS FOR THEIR KINDNESS

Presidium Raj Nagar recently got a wonderful opportunity to be blessed by the presence of the special children of Sparsh, who came to thank their humble friends for their generous contribution on the occasion of Children's Day. Our young Presidians left no stone unturned to welcome these special guests and presented some heartfelt performances like a group song featuring spectacular acrobats, a magic show and a group dance. The students enjoyed these heart-touching performances to the core and swayed on the tunes of peppy songs. It was a moment of honour and pride as the staff and students of Presidium received acknowledgment and appreciation from the Sparsh team for their kind gesture.

NAME PLATE MAKING ACTIVITY: PRESIDIANS SHOW THEIR BEST CREATIONS

Considering children's fondness towards writing their names creatively, a Name Plate Making Activity was recently organized for the students of grade 2 at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The theme of the activity was so delightful that each child came out with his or her best creations. They performed incredibly well and used various tools to decorate the initials of their names. The activity was designed to help them learn about their abilities and creative skills. It was truly, an amazing experience!

To give the students a fun-filled opportunity of experiential learning, Presidium Raj Nagar recently organized a Fire-Less Cooking Activity for students of grades nursery and prep. The activity proved to be a huge hit with the young toddlers, where they displayed their extraordinary culinary skills without the use of fire. The creative and talented little Presidians prepared sumptuous dishes and presented them beautifully in front of the guests. Later on, they relished the same with their peers!

INTRA-CLASS QUIZ BUILDS ANALYTICAL & CRITICAL VIEW OF PRESIDIANS

Keeping this thought in mind, an Intra-Class Quiz Competition was organized by the Story Tellers Academy of Mass Communication at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The quiz aimed to promote healthy participation, build analytical and critical thinking and enhance knowledge ranging from scientific inventions to history, games and various forms of art and culture. The competition was conducted in an interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. It turned out to be a successful and fun-filled contest, wherein our young Presidians displayed ecstatic spirit.

Presidium Raj Nagar was set to deliver loads of laughs and learning in the classroom, as the competition 'Just for Laugh' called upon the little Presidians of grades nursery and prep to share their joy in the form of jokes. This initiative also included a range of resources to help teachers easily integrate the competition and comedy writing into lessons. As it was all linked back to the curriculum, the young students went home with plenty of giggles and learning.

To motivate our students of grades 1 to 3 to become effective and impressive communicators of tomorrow, Presidium Raj Nagar organized an Inter-Class Spellathon Competition. The idea was to help students improve their spellings, enhance their vocabulary, learn concepts and develop their overall linguistic skills. They participated earnestly in the competition and realised the significance of knowing correct spellings in their day-to-day reading and writing habits. Considering that those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage that is inevitable, a Science Exhibition was recently organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. The students showcased the importance of water in our life and the ways to reuse and recycle it. Starting from glaciers to sea, every form of water was worked over and displayed with its significance in the form of functional and non-functional models. The day was packed with learning for our 'leaders of tomorrow'.

In order to promote the use of innovative ways for developing Number Sense, Mathematical Concepts and Reasoning, Presidium Raj Nagar recently organised a Maths Activity for grade 3 students, wherein they used Dienes Block to solve a division problem. The activity aimed to promote critical thinking, analytical skills and problem solving in classroom with the help of Jodo Gyan kits. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by students!
