Sparsh students gave a warm welcome to the Presidians through their big and vibrant smiles that truly made our day. Students from Presidium, Rajnagar made their generous contribution towards the growth of Sparsh. Sparsh students gave a heart throbbing dance performance and set a mark in the hearts of the audience. Presidium, Rajnagar was acknowledged with the Certificate of Appreciation as a token of love.

Scenting the school premises with the aroma of Festivities!

Presidians at Raj Nagar celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti and Children’s Day on 11th Nov 2016 with an amalgamation of devotion on one hand and the celebration of childhood on the other.
To mark the occasion, the children and staff came dressed in ethnic Punjabi attire. Beautiful pieces of Art related to Guru Nanak Jayanti and Children’s Day beautifully decorated the atrium. A special assembly was held on this day, which commenced with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra and Students’ Prayer. The host of the assembly was Dhanya Aggarwal of Grade 5.
An English speech was presented on Guru Nanak Jayanti by Deepti Maheshwari from Grade 4. Students from Grade 4 and 5 recited the ‘Ek Onkar’ prayer to connect to the Almighty and spread the message that ‘God is one’. This was followed by a Speech in Hindi by Jitin Kumar of Grade 5 on the various aspects of Bal Diwas. Teachers celebrated the spirit of Youthfulness and walked down the memory lane to revisit their childhood by sharing their memorable experiences of their childhood. The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Head of School - Ms.Reena Charles.

LEADERS OF TOMORROW CROWNED AT THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY IN RAJNAGAR

The Investiture Ceremony, 2016, witnessed the young Presidians being honoured with prestigious positions in the school’s Student Council by the Hon’ble Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta and the Presidium family. She congratulated the students, teachers and the parents on the joyous occasion and extended warm wishes to the students for a bright year ahead.
At the ceremony, some of the coveted titles bestowed upon the students were - School Head Girl, Head Boy, Cultural Head, Sports Head, President Social Cause, Club Presidents and their respective councils. At the event, Junior School Council was also felicitated, thus giving learning and leadership opportunities at an even younger age. Presidians received the new roles and responsibilities with grace and dignity. The charismatic oath instilled confidence on their intention and capabilities. The decorated badges filled their hearts with both joy and gratitude towards their parents, teachers and school.

There is no love in this world greater than that of a mother for her child. Celebrating this precious and unconditional love of a mother, special assemblies marking 'Mother's Day', were held for the whole week across all schools of Presidium. Children from all grades participated in various activities organised for them. As a token of love and gratitude for their mothers, they made special hand crafted gifts and bouquets for them.The children also performed on heart-touching songs and dance sequences. It was a memorable moment indeed to see children valuing the greatest bond of love on earth-a mother’s love!

CONFIDENCE SOARS IN PRESIDIANS DURING STAGE EXPOSURE ACTIVITIES AT RAJ NAGAR

With an aim of developing and enhancing the public speaking skills in children, an enriching and enjoyable “Show and Tell Competition” along with a “Rhyme Recitation Competition”, is being organised from Grade Nursery to III, across all Presidium branches. Our children participated enthusiastically; each one of them brought different subject varying from the things that they use in everyday life to their favorite cartoon characters, fruits, books etc. Not only did they learn from their own participation but the activity also witnessed peer learning at its best. It was indeed a great opportunity for the students to nurture their skills in voice modulation, expressions, body language and confidence of speech and presentation.

PRESIDIUM INDIRAPURAM CLAIMS VICTORY AT SCHOLARS SPORTS CARNIVAL

Presidians from Indirapuram marked their way to glorious win at 'Scholars Sports Carnival' in Delhi Public School, Raj Nagar on 19th February. Our champs bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in Athletics and Skating. Presidian Idaant Tiwari from Nursery, won a Gold medal in 30 Mts., Rutvika Gupta from Prep, won a Silver medal in 50 Mts., and Harshika Karnail from Grade 2nd, won a Bronze medal in 60 Mts. Pranay Rajput from Nursery, won a Bronze medal, Kadhvi Jain from Prep, won a Silver Medal, Aditya Raj Singh from Grade 2nd, won a Gold medal, Arnav Rajput from Grade 2nd, won a Bronze medal, Balram Singhal from Grade 3rd, won a Silver medal, and Shristi Shreya from Grade 3rd, won a Bronze medal. We are proud of our champs!
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE BASANT PANCHAMI

Basant Panchmi is an occasion which marks the onset of the ‘Spring Season’. The festival is also celebrated to worship Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom. To mark the occasion, the students and staff of Presidium Raja Nagar, came dressed in bright yellow coloured clothes on 12 February. Beautiful pieces of Art related to Basant Panchmi were decorated in the atrium and a rangoli was made which signified the brilliance of nature and the vibrancy of life.
A special assembly was held with the Grade 5th students performing on the ‘Saraswati Vandana’. This was followed by a speech by Kshitij Srivastava of Grade 3rd on the various aspects of the festival. Grade Nursery and Prep gave a delightful group dance performance on the tunes of ‘Maa Saraswati Sharde’ which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Grade 1st students also presented a spiritual song which was followed by a speech by Angad Tyagi of Grade 2nd. It was a colourful celebration enjoyed by all.
