12-12-2020
The quest for knowledge, like everything else of value, is not to be obtained easily. It must be worked for, studied for, thought for, and more than that must be prayed for. To encourage the students to widen their knowledge about the things happening in and around the world and updating their facts and figures, Presidium organized a Quiz Competition for Grade 9 Leaders of Tomorrow. The quiz was prepared and conducted with the wonderful and efficient Social Science team with the utmost precision and expertise. The quest had three different levels, scaling from easy to hard. STORYTELLING COMPETITION IGNITE A LOVE FOR READING IN STUDENTS

05-12-2020

A wise man once said, “After nourishment, shelter, and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.”

It’s the stories that give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of our physical world and into the land of fairies, dragons, and wishing trees. It is in our imagination that we embrace things and situations that we shy away from the real world. Since time immemorial, storytelling has been an integral part of our childhood. To keep the tradition going and incite curiosity and the love for reading in children, a storytelling competition was organised by Presidium for grade Nursery/Prep students. The young, enthusiastic storytellers armed with their props came forth with beautiful tales. Some stories gave them food for thought, and some reinforced moral values. The stories were adjudged based on the expression, confidence, and presentation skills of the students.
