On 23rd April 2021, Presidians presented a thought provoking assembly on the occasion of World Book Day. It is quite unfortunate that with the rapid growth of electronic technology the reading habit, particularly among the young, is declining at an alarming rate. The assembly addressed this concern and emphasised upon the power of reading and the importance of books in our lives. Learners encouraged their friends to inculcate the habit of reading. They recited quotes from famous works of poets like Wordsworth, Shelly and Mirza Galib. They even prepared bookmarks with inspirational quotes. Overall, it was an enriching experience.

Baisakhi is an important harvest festival of Punjab that has religious value as well, and Presidium celebrated it with great enthusiasm. All of the students enjoyed dancing on Bhangra beats and were shown a small animated video of the festival. The colourful attires made it more beautiful. They were also made aware of the importance of this festival by showcasing the Punjabi culture. The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their culture and heritage. The celebration of this festival marked the beginning of festivities at our school. These engaging and fun-filled activities were planned in such a manner that students were feeling confident, connected to each other, and as deeply valued members of our school community right from the very first day.

Presidium celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Constitution of India. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate his teachings and works. The celebrations commenced with the recitation of Shabad. The teachers spoke on the impact and significance of Baba Saheb’s ideology during the freedom struggle. They motivated the students to follow in his footsteps and inculcate his values in their lives to achieve their aim and uplift society. Students made posters and wrote motivational quotes to remember his contribution to society.

Good health is the main source of happiness in life; it helps in maintaining the smile on your face. World Health Day was celebrated by the Presidians during their virtual classes. Poster making activity was organized wherein all the students made an informative poster on "World Health Day." An interactive online session was organized wherein the students were made aware of good health and emphasized good eating habits, washing hands before and after eating food, brushing twice a day, performing physical exercises, and playing sports.

Presidium had organized few activities for students during their online and offline classes, to mark the auspicious festival of Holi. On one side, our tiny tots made beautiful posters on Holi, and on the other side, our big ones celebrated the festival during their offline classes. Since we all know that in the prevailing scenario, we need to follow the protocol and guidelines to play safe Holi, we took care of all the measures and precautions. The students commenced the day by putting on a TILAK and seeking the blessings of their mentors, to commemorate the day, holi colours were applied on hands, some speeches were organized to enlighten everybody about the true spirit of Holi. We ended the day with the sweet distribution. Everybody appreciated the efforts put in by the students to change the scenario into a light-hearted festive mood.
