Puppets are a fun way of learning emotions, dialogues and interactions along with enhancing our creativity and talent. And when little fingers become puppets, it adds to the beauty and fun. Students of grades Nursery and Prep performed an activity of making little finger puppets using colored sheets of paper and ribbons. They made various types of puppets like animals, dolls, cartoon characters, etc. This allowed them to have fun and learn how to mimic others. This enhanced their creativity and artistic skills. They were helped by their teachers and peers in making colorful puppets as well as presenting them in front of their peers and teachers.

PRESIDIANS LEARN THE PROPERTIES OF MAGNETISM WITH A FUN ACTIVITY!

Magnets are fun to play with and teach us a lot. Even our planet has a magnet within, that aligns itself as north and south poles. The students of grade 6 performed an activity related to magnets with guidance of their science teachers. Magnets of various sizes and types were used to determine their poles and laws of attraction. Students also used various other elements to study what attracts magnets and what repels it. This helped them learn various concepts and laws related to magnets in a fun way.

SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCES AT THE PRESIDIUM FUTURE FEST 2019!

The two day long gala event, Future Fest 2019, held at Siri Fort Auditorium on 16th & 17th February saw some of the most entertaining and spectacular performances by our young leaders of tomorrow. It was a celebration of the genius, skill, ideas, passion, craft and talents of our young Presidians. The event began with a soulful rendition of Ganesh Vandana followed by performances on various social issues and a tribute to our brave soldiers. The enthusiasm and energy of the young performers could be felt in the auditorium as the audience cheered for the Presidians.

With an aim to create interest among students regarding the subject, Presidium Raj Nagar recently organised a Math Activity. Students presented the subject in the most innovative and interesting way. They displayed various theorems and the concept of ‘speed math’ through charts and presentations. The activity provided a great way for the students to learn something new with a different approach.

PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE INDIAN CONSTITUTION ON 70TH REPUBLIC DAY

Republic Day is a grand event in our country. It is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm on 26th of January to honour the Constitution of India. Students of Presidium Raj Nagar celebrated the 70th Republic Day with sheer patriotism. Ms. Megha Verma, Director Presidium Raj Nagar, Shri Ravikant Gupta and Shri Nishant Jain, founders Presidium Raj Nagar joined the students and staff for the celebration. The young Presidians from Grades Nursery and Prep also presented a dance to show their love for the country. This was followed by a Taekwondo presentation and a Nukkad Natak by highlighting the societal issues that should be taken care of by all of us. The assembly culminated with a patriotic dance leaving us with a thought ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for the country.’

PRESIDIANS SWAY TO THE BEATS AT INTERCLASS DANCE COMPETITION

Dance is a hidden language of the soul and of the body. It is not only body moving to the beats but the mind and soul too get in sync with the rhythm of life. With an aim of honing the dance skills of students, an Inter Class Dance Competition was organized at Presidium Raj Nagar. The theme of the competition was Indian Folk dances. The fun filled extravaganza offered various folk dance forms such as Bhangra, Kathak, Bharatnatyam etc. The children dressed up in colourful costumes swayed to the beats of folk music. These vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances dancing with grace and poise. The ability they displayed and the enthusiasm and energy exhibited, was awe-inspiring.

PRESIDIUM RAJ NAGAR HOLDS AN INNOVATIVE & INTERACTIVE PTM SESSION

‘Creativity is as important now as literacy in education and we should treat it the same’. Presidium Raj Nagar is a place where students learn a whole gamut of subjects be it curricular or co-curricular. Keeping this in mind, a PTM was organized showcasing the talents and skills of students of grades 4 to 9. The day was a mixture of acknowledging the year long achievements of the young Presidians and a lot of fun and joy that students spread with their performances on stage. The emphasis was on the importance of having fun and health benefits of physical fitness, through activities and on being friends with your children as conveyed by the Head of the School, Ms Shraddha Aggarwal. As a part of the cultural programme the students of grade 4-6 presented a Nukad Natak on Right to equality whereas the students of grade 7-9 gave a spectacular performance through a Skit on Women Empowerment. The day culminated with an experience sharing session with the parents.
