Global warming is the average temperature of the Earth which has been increasing since 1950 now. Global warming can also refer to climate change that causes an increase in the average temperature. Presidium organized poster making activity on the theme of global warming to ignite the fire of imagination, creativity, and awareness among the students, how human activities have degraded nature’s protection. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. The young learners displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters. They participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful posters that gave the message of saving our mother Earth and providing a greener environment to our future generations. It was a great opportunity to watch these young minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper.

To be born as a girl child is a unique blessing in itself and hence gives a reason to celebrate. To highlight this fact an entire day is dedicated to the girls, popularly celebrated as Daughter’s Day. To erase the stigma that daughters are a burden, Presidium honoured the existence of the females and celebrated the occasion of being blessed by a daughter’s love and affection and realizing the fact that daughters are a reason to celebrate. They bring happiness and prosperity to the lives of the parents. They enjoyed their daughters to make them feel special and make them realize that they are appreciated. They were pampered with different activities like cooking, indoor picnic, art n craft activities, and many more. Therefore, especially on this occasion, shower your love and blessings on all the daughters around.

Presidium celebrated International Peace day enthusiastically where students participated in various activities to promote peace in the school environment. The students had done various activities to express their feelings about peace. They reflected their understanding of peace by making badges, cards, and many more. The students had an open discussion on how to respect and accept others' opinions and show intercultural understanding and resolve their differences. The students organized themselves in a way to display the peace symbol, which was highly appreciated by everyone. It was an enriching experience for the students as they realized the importance of unity and peace and we are hopeful that they will promote peace in all walks of their life.

Tangram puzzles serve as a solid foundation educational tool for children as well as an endless source of entertainment for people of all ages. It is an excellent way to have fun and strengthen your brain. Like building blocks, tangrams can teach kids about spatial relationships. They help kids learn geometric terms, and develop stronger problem solving abilities. Students of Presidium enjoyed this activity which helped them to develop skills such as, problem solving, logical thinking, creativity, hands - eye motor skill and geometrical shapes concept.

Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14 to pay tribute to the official language of India. Hindi was adopted as the official language of the Constituent Assembly on September 14, 1949. The students of Presidium celebrated Hindi Diwas to mark the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language. A special assembly marked the occasion. Students across the classes participated in the assembly. The assembly started with news and thought in Hindi followed by a talk on the importance of the Hindi language. Students also presented two Hindi group songs on this occasion. Everybody made sincere efforts to use Hindi as a medium of conversation for the day.

Presidium celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and gaiety. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav. Students showcased dances, songs, and skits depicting the importance of Lord Vinayaka. The teachers said that one should not forget the culture, tradition, and importance of celebrating festivals. They asked the students to celebrate the festival with joy and devotion.

This fact was recognized in 1965 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) when it created International Literacy Day. September 8 is the day to remember the importance of literacy for individuals and communities around the world. The day also highlights the fact that not all children learn how to read. Literacy was the prime requisite for learning and played a vital role in restraining population growth, curbing poverty, establishing gender impartiality, and a bright promise for growth. Presidians were encouraged to opine about the significance of the day through various related activities to work towards achieving the desired goal.

‘A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill a love for learning’. Presidium celebrated Teachers’ day with great fun and enthusiasm. There was an unusual excitement in the studentS which was quite contagious and clearly visible in the love and affection given by the students where they paid homage to their teachers through poems, handmade cards, embellished themselves as their teacher, and many more. This day created memories to cherish forever.
