Presidians celebrated Children’s day with great festive fervour, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was extremely fond of children. The children’s day program had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for complete entertainment. The program began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, followed by an informative and inspirational speech by the teachers about the great leader, thinker, visionary, and true statesman – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. To make the day more special and entertaining, the school also celebrated ‘Fancy Dress Day.’ With such a vast arena of cultural events and fun-filled activities, it has proved to be a memorable day for the students.

To enhance the knowledge and creativity, students of Presidium, along with teachers performed various activities on the concept of Properties of Water. It was a very informative and learning experience. The activity included information about the shape of water, taste, and color of the water. They also discussed that water is one of the most precious resources on Earth and is necessary for all living beings. Students understood that the major part of our planet’s surface is covered with water which we have to use judiciously.

The bond between siblings is one like no other. In India, the celebration of love between brothers and sisters is a very special one – first with Raksha Bandhan earlier in the year, and then with Bhai Dooj. It celebrates the loving bond between brothers and sisters. Students of Presidium celebrated this festival of bond with great zeal. The little ones dressed up in colourful traditional attire to get the festive look made beautiful cards for their siblings and many more. Students were made aware of the significance of this festival and celebrated it with full enthusiasm across India.

It is time to remove the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge instead. The festival of lights came alive at Presidium when all the students signified the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. While celebrating Diwali at home, young Leaders led the way in spreading the message of celebrating safe and pollution-free Eco-Friendly Diwali. Card Making, Diya Decoration, Festoon Making, etc. were such activities held to enhance the creative skills of the students. All these activities brought lots of joy and happiness sparkling on the face of each Presidian.

India is a secular country with diversified cultures and significance in its own kind. As an endeavor to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, Presidium celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with various activities to extend their heartfelt appreciation about the life and the involvement of the great leader. The idea was to infuse in the young future generation the values integrated with the knowledge and adoration about the country’s rich heritage. A throng of activities were organized to support the cause of promoting unity and celebrating “National Unity Day." A special morning assembly was organized and the program was started with the impressive speeches made by the students in English as well as Hindi on the life, history, and the role of Sardar Patel in the freedom struggle to establish a harmonious society. A collaborative pledge on Peace and Solidarity was administered by the teachers and the students.

Quizzes can help students practice existing knowledge while stimulating interest in learning about the new subject matter. The main objective of such events is to make them aware of recent general knowledge related to the topic. An Inter-Club Quiz Competition (English) was organized by Presidium. The Quiz was unique in itself because it was held on a Hybrid Platform. It was an interesting competition which covered the areas of Indo - Anglian Writers, Grammar, Vocabulary, Spell Bee & Proverbs. There were a total of 6 Clubs. It was a very informative and knowledge-enriching competition for the participants. The hybrid Platform based competition gave a better experience to the participants. The participants conquered the scene with their immense knowledge on the subject. Their budding minds were full of spectacular ideas that can make a difference to the world.

As part of the School’s Mission to prepare students to be leaders today and tomorrow, Presidium values and cherishes their individuality and uniqueness whilst still respecting the differences of others. The UN Day celebration brought this understanding of respect, harmony, and peace to the forefront as parents, students and teachers celebrated our diversity as one humankind. At the assembly, our students enthralled the school community with their knowledge which showcased and highlighted the diverse traditions or nations of the world. It was a very successful and informative event for the students.
