One of the most frequently applied relationships in current electricity is known as Ohm’s Law. This experiment is aimed to investigate and determine the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance. The relationship was determined by measuring the current, while the voltage remains constant, and the resistance is varied. The experiment was performed by taking all the necessary precautions, such as all the connections were kept tight, and the range of voltmeter was greater than the applied voltage, etc. Students acquired knowledge about practical applications of Ohm’s Law; for example, in electronic circuits, there are many purposes where intentional voltage drop is required to supply specific voltage across different electric elements.

COVID-19 has affected our lives in numerous ways. One of the major changes incurred due to the spread of COVID-19 is wearing a mask has become mandatory for all of us. Presidium organized a Social Initiative Webinar on Mask Making for the students of Class IV-VII, wherein the students learned about the significance of wearing a mask. They were taught to make masks with the help of video and Power-point presentations. In this workshop, the students learned to make two types of masks i.e., a hosiery material mask and a hand-stitched cotton mask. The students enjoyed such hands-on experience activity and promised that they would not step out of their homes without wearing their beautiful self-made masks. They also pledged to create awareness regarding the same by distributing such masks to guards of their society/ colony or the domestic helpers as well by explaining to them the value of such precautions.

“If you have to say or do something controversial, aim so that people will hate that they love it and not love that they hate it.” We, at Presidium, aim at enhancing our pupil’s creative and communicative skills by providing them innumerable platforms for the same. To ensure the holistic development of our students, we organized an ‘Inter-Club Debate Competition’ for grades 9 & 10. Students were an enthusiastic audience to witness an exciting online event. Their display of oratory skills, confidence, and knowledge of the topic was an enthralling experience. They argued their issues, maintaining the decorum of the session. Everybody appreciated the efforts put in by the students, and the participants were awarded certificates. The event proved that ‘there are no tough opponents in a debate, but only tough issues.’

“One must learn by doing the thing, though you think you know it-you have no certainty until you try.” Presidium School invigorated students to participate in the Science Subject activity of making the model of human teeth. The intention was to make them learn or understand the structure of teeth in a better way. Once the child makes the human teeth model, the child will remember the structure and names of the teeth easily. Our young Presidians actively participated in this activity and sent terrific pictures of the human teeth models made by coloured sheets and clay. Students made stunning representations of the teeth and described the functions and structure of various kinds of teeth. They put in tremendous hard work to exhibit their aptitude, which is appreciable. It was a productive and impactful activity wherein the students got an opportunity to display their hidden talent and to learn innovatively.
