The growth of cities may spur economic growth, but it also leads to encroachment of land inhabited by animals. As a result, animals may be killed to minimize their presence in the invaded area or become extinct due to the disruption in their natural environment and ecosystem. Tigers are one of the animals who need to be protected before they become extinct. Students of Presidium depicted the magnificence of tigers through art and craft related activities, including mask-making, face-painting, collage-making, painting, etc., wherein they passionately put forward their views concerning the issue.

PRESIDIANS HONE LANGUAGE SKILLS WITH ENGLISH ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY
15-02-2020
“Give the pupils something to do, not something to learn; and doing is of such a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results.” – John Deway
With this belief, a subject enrichment activity was organized for grade 7 students. English Enrichment provides students with the opportunity to learn, experience, read and write within a variety of genres. So, to inculcate this additional creative learning, students were taught a concept based on experiential learning. They were given a text, in which they had to visualize themselves and draw an event that has been mentioned in the text or they had to draw the best scene. This method not only helped them in understanding a literary device but also gave them a better understanding of the text. Through several events of the text, the whole concept of the text or the gist was captivated. It was an exhilarating activity, which led them into the thinking process and then into learning naturally.
