The honourable chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta graced this award ceremony to acknowledge the academic toppers and students with 100% attendance with trophies and certificates. It was in fact a matter of great pride for the students and their families to get acknowledged by this respected dignitary. Inspiring the awardees with the thought that success is not just about achievement but being consistent in your endeavours, Mrs. Gupta motivated them to keep up the good work. PATRIOTIC FERVOUR RISES HIGH AT PRESIDIUM RAJ NAGAR

With the mission to pay humble homage to the land who taught the world how to live, love and laugh in brotherhood and harmony, Presidians of Raj Nagar recently celebrated the 71st Independence Day of India. The children of Pre-Primary displayed their love and spirit for their country with a fashion show and came dressed up as freedom fighters. The programme began with the evergreen songs 'we shall overcome' and 'nanha munna rahi' by the children, dressed in different colourful attires. Filled with hope and promise, the students offered gratefulness and respect to the heroes who gave their lives for our freedom, for our country.

Lord Krishna, the avatar who is considered as one of the most popular deities, has shown a spiritual path of wisdom, devotion and discrimination to the world. Janmashtami is the occasion, which celebrates the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and to mark this blissful day, the students of Presidium Raj Nagar came dressed in the attire of Radha and Krishna. The campus was adorned with beautiful pieces of art related to Janmashtami. A ‘Krishna Jhoola’ and ‘matki’ setup was done, where students and staff came together and sought the blessing of Kanha Ji.

PRESIDIUM RAJ NAGAR HOSTS SWIMMING MEET

Every race is an opportunity to measure yourself against your own potential!
The astounding journey of Presidium witnessed another milestone when to promote swimming as a competitive sport, an Inter-Presidium Swimming Championship was recently organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. A huge success, this grand championship witnessed humongous participation of 157 students from 17 Presidium branches. The talented participants came together to display their magnificent swimming skills in varied styles spread across 42 different events. The competition was held across 3 age categories and the winners from each category were awarded with a certificate of recognition and a trophy.
Amid the respected School Heads, the championship was also graced by distinguished chief guests, Mr. Partha Pratin Majumdaar (Head Coach - NSA), Mr. Rajkumar (Vice President - Swimming Federation of India) and guest of honour, Mr. D. S Chikkara (Chief Coach of Swimming - SAI). Mrs. Reena Charles, Head of Presidium Raj Nagar, congratulated and praised all the students who participated in the competition with kind words of appreciation.

PRESIDIANS TAKE A STEP TOWARDS A GREENER PLANET WITH PAPER BAGS

The key to a greener planet is in our hands!
To make our dear students realize the importance of this responsibility, a Paper Bag Making Club Activity was recently organized at Presidium, Raj Nagar. Recyclable, reusable and biodegradable, paper bags are a big initiative towards a healthy environment. Our talented Presidians from grade 3 took part in this wonderful activity proactively. It was amazing to witness their creativity in designing paper bags, which are undoubtedly a better alternative to plastic bags. The students used waste material like old newspapers and magazines for creating beautiful and innovative paper bags. Thoroughly enjoyed by all, this fun-filled activity served the purpose of sensitizing students about saving the environment.

PRESIDIANS DIVE INTO THE DREAMY WATER KINGDOM WITH FISH MAKING

Fishes, the vibrant and fascinating creatures, always tend to capture the imagination of kids and take them into a dreamy world of water. To kindle creativity and let the kids dive into the kingdom of fishes, Presidium Raj Nagar organized a Fish Making Activity for Grade 1 students under the 'Out of the Box Academy'. The students made beautiful fishes in the Paper Folding Activity with the help of Origami sheets. Enthralled with the exposure to this Japanese art of paper folding, the students developed spatial reasoning and enhanced understanding of basic geometric shapes. The activity gave the students an opportunity to explore their artistic skills and also played a vital role in enhancing their cognitive and fine motor skills. It was a treat to the eyes to see bright and life-size fishes all around.

ART FROM THE HEART COLOURING COMPETITION: CREATIVITY AT ITS BEST

Keeping this thought in mind, Presidium organised the 'Art from Heart' colouring competition for grade nursery to prep to explore the creativity of the students. The students were thrilled to showcase their artistic skills in colouring. They enjoyed exploring the colours and painting their imagination on the colouring sheets provided to them. Proving that colouring is a valuable art of self-expression, the competition encouraged the hidden artist in the talented students of Presidium, Raj Nagar. Expressing their immense love for art, the young artists exhibited abundant amount of creativity and had an extraordinary hands-on experience.

A good teacher touches the soul and instills love for learning in students. To nurture the young minds of students, Presidium believes in building an effective education system by training the teachers regularly.
With the help of this intensive training, inhibitions were shed and teachers got acquainted with tools and techniques for better classroom management. The teachers got an opportunity for self introspection which helped them rekindle their passion for teaching.
Such training sessions motivate and empower the teachers so that they could empower our students and this truly serves our aim to create 'Leaders of Tomorrow'.
